Counter-Strike is the most popular sniper squad internet game ever, for logical reasons. For a decade, it has been the best and most entertaining game of its kind. It still provides the best scenarios, and it is also the best destination for fans of this type of game to show their talents.For those who don't know it yet, Counter-Strike is a first-person sniper game (that is, the player looks at what is happening through the eyes of his hero). Where two teams of archers face to achieve a specific goal. These two teams are divided into a terrorist group and an anti-terrorist team. The two teams struggle to place bombs, dismantle them, kidnap or rescue hostages, each according to their role.
Before each round, each team gets a few seconds to purchase the gear. They can choose between different weapons, such as shields, grenades, or even equipment to dismantle the bombs. All this can be purchased with the money they earned in previous rounds.
This premium version of this game, produced by WarZone, includes legendary formulas like CS_Assault, DE_Dust, CS_Mansion, DE_Aztec. Moreover, the game occupies less than 300MB only and does not require anything extra to play: just install it and play.
As usual with Counter-Strike (unless very common in other modern games), you can play online or over a local area network (LAN). But for the latter one you can use other applications such as the premium hamachi.
Counter-Strike 1.6, despite its age, is still one of the best first-person shooters games. The single-player mode may be a boring thing, but once you start playing with friends or online, you realize how much fun and entertainment has been achieved.
